Annual Atelier Care
Every annual visit responds to the needs of your piece. First, our Hatton Garden workshop reviews its condition. Then, our specialists follow a considered process that protects its beauty, security and integrity.
STEP 01
When your piece arrives at our Hatton Garden workshop, we review its condition carefully. We examine the setting, band, joins and finish, and note any visible wear before work begins. If we find anything beyond the complimentary service, such as a repair, resizing or stone replacement, we explain our recommendation. We also provide a quotation before carrying out additional work.
STEP 02
Next, our setter inspects every stone, claw and setting for movement or signs of wear. Where appropriate, the setter tightens the setting to help keep your stones secure. However, we discuss any concern that needs more extensive attention before further work begins.
STEP 03
Everyday wear can leave residue around the setting, beneath stones and within intricate details. Therefore, our specialists clean your jewellery thoroughly using a method suited to its materials and construction. This process removes accumulated build-up and restores the piece’s natural brilliance.
STEP 04
Where appropriate, our polishers soften light signs of wear and restore the jewellery’s lustre. They select each treatment according to the metal, finish, engraving and individual design details. As a result, the process protects the character of your piece.
STEP 05
Finally, our team examines the mount, band and joins for signs of stress, wear or damage. We complete one last review before returning your jewellery. We also explain any findings and share practical care guidance for the time between annual visits.

What does Lifetime Atelier Care include?
Your complimentary annual service includes professional cleaning and polishing where appropriate. In addition, our specialists check the claws, settings and complete structure of your jewellery.
How often should I return my jewellery?
Return your jewellery once every 12 months to maintain your Kinzy London warranty.
How long does the annual service take?
Annual services usually take approximately two to three days. However, our team may occasionally complete the service sooner.
Are repairs included in the complimentary service?
The complimentary service does not include repairs, resizing or stone replacement. If our specialists recommend additional work, we explain it and provide a quotation before proceeding.
